Some of the best videos taken by drones are from whale watching off the coast of Dana Point. A special safari for drone enthusiasts awaits those wanting the opportunity to film the spectacular whales, dolphins, and other marine wildlife we see on our tours.
This specialty drone whale watching trip in Dana Point is limited to just six passengers total: Up to three drone operators per trip are allowed. Each drone operator may bring one guest.
Each drone operator will have at least 15 minutes to fly his/her drone.
ORCA is our 38-foot luxury motor yacht operated by our friendly and knowledgeable Captain and first mate. ORCA has a fast cruising speed to get you out to the dolphins and whales quickly! The covered aft deck is open on all sides, allowing for easy catch and release of your drone and for whale watching, while providing shade from the sun and a comfortable place to sit. Guests are welcome to get up-close and personal with bow riding dolphins and curious whales on the bow. Or enjoy panoramic views of Orange County’s gorgeous coastline and full protection from the elements while comfortably seated in the fully enclosed bridge.

Daniel our captain was very nice and accommodating, even letting me know to notify him when I would like to launch my drone and land so that he could position the boat to make it easier.
