Although an assortment of dry snacks such as chips and candy will be available for purchase, no other food will be provided. Feel free to bring along your favorite snacks or meal.
As we cruise just beyond the harbor and along the coastline, you’ll be treated to panoramic ocean views, dramatic coastal cliffs, and the occasional cameo from dolphins, sea birds, or other marine life. Please note: while whales and dolphins naturally inhabit these waters, this experience is a scenic sunset cruise, not a dedicated whale watching trip.

Hoku Nai’a is designed for passenger comfort and has panoramic views from both the main deck and the elevated observation deck. There are two restrooms available on the main deck.
You will enjoy a beautifully appointed interior with upscale décor throughout the vessel that celebrates Dana Point’s famous surfing culture and recognition as the Dolphin and Whale Watching Capital of the World®.
On the first floor, the main deck is fully enclosed for climate control. As you enter, a lounge area with three sofas provides a comfortable place to relax and chat.
Forward of the lounge are surfboard tables with bench seats. Large windows on both sides provide panoramic viewing angles.
Heading upstairs to the second floor, the observation deck has ample cushioned bench seating, and a wooden dance floor, and is covered for added protection from the elements. A full bar is available for purchasing refreshments including water, soft drinks, beer, and wine.
