The original pride of our fleet, DOLPHINSAFARI.COM, is a 35-foot sailing catamaran that remains a crew and passenger favorite. With a comfortable capacity of 20 passengers, DOLPHINSAFARI.COM provides an intimate dolphin and whale watching experience. Her specially designed bow with Eye-Spy Dolphin Tram Net is so close to the water that you can sometimes touch the animals! It's almost like being on a kayak.
"Easy. So much closer to the water. For anyone who can't do [the] pod....knees, claustrophobia, etc., you're as good as there. Lying down on deck, you can touch dolphin, or vice versa. Meeting a whale from a smaller craft is even more dramatic... I would go all the time on DS if I had that choice. The area over each hull allows me to be very secure, no worries about falling. I changed my two Manute'a trips tomorrow to DS even though that meant moving off Tom's trips and I adore him." - Martee Shabsin
"The boat was the smaller catamaran, the Dolphin Safari, which is the best boat because you are right on the water. You could look down and see animals swimming under the boat! The water was so clear, too. We saw baby dolphins swimming with the mothers! The boat takes just 20 people, so it is pretty small, but everyone gets the same view, and you never miss anything because it's on the "other side of the boat." The bow waves splash into the boat over the netting a little bit (which is great when the weather's warm) and the quieter engines of the Dolphin Safari mean the animals aren't spooked as much. I've done lots of whale watching and this is the best!" - Classiccartraveler, Los Angeles, California

MANUTE'A is our 50-foot sailing catamaran that will comfortably accommodate up to 49 passengers. Her hi-tech features include two exclusive Eye-to-Eye Underwater viewing PODs™ designed to get you as close to the dolphins and whales as we do aboard DOLPHINSAFARI.COM.
She is also the only whale watching boat to broadcast trips live on the internet. Visit www.WhaleWatchingTV.com to view whales and dolphins live from your computer during our daily whale watching excursions.
"It wasn't too long before we were in the middle of a pod of dolphins. What an outstanding experience. To see these beautiful creatures in their natural habitat made me realize just how special this really was. We saw very small dolphins probably only 1-2 days old. Mark was very knowledgeable and shared many facts that made watching these dolphins more enjoyable." - Scott and Lisa Worden
