Even though whales and dolphins are seen throughout the day, ocean conditions in the early morning are often the best!

There’s less wind, which means smooth, glassy seas.

When seas are calm it can be easier to locate disruptions in the water such as a whale spout or a dolphin jumping. It also makes for more comfortable whale watching for guests on board, too!

On this 4-hour morning cruise, we’ll be heading out on our fast and stable upscale power catamaran to look for whales, dolphins, seal and sea lions, sharks and other fish, and more.

With the extended duration, you’ll have even more time to spend with the magnificent whales and dolphins.

Dana Point, a Whale Heritage Site, is the Dolphin and Whale Watching Capital of the World®!

A variety of wildlife could be seen including huge blue and fin whales, lively humpback whales, huge pods of fun-loving dolphins, sunfish, great white, blue, or mako sharks, cute sea lions, and more.
