Imagine yourself with friends, family, or on a date cruising scenic Dana Point Harbor on a beautiful Saturday evening. The sun is getting low in the sky, the waves are rolling against the jetty wall, and a gentle breeze is blowing through your hair. And you’re all singing along to your favorite Beach Boys songs!
Wouldn’t It Be Nice to let loose and have some fun while enjoying the best of what summer has to offer? This is what our Sounds of Summer Concert Cruise on our catamaran Hoku Nai’a is all about.
The Sounds of Summer Concert Cruises will have various bands playing surf-style music.
The July 1st featured musical performance during our boat cruise summer series will be Michael Physick.
Michael Physick has been entertaining with his acoustic guitar for over 20 years in both Canada and the US. Michael has an extensive song list that spans 6 decades of top 40 music and all genres for a show is always diverse and highly entertaining!

A delicious dinner with either a burger bar or tacos on board the boat is included in the price of this boat cruise summer series.
On July 1, we’re serving a burger bar of beef cheeseburgers or plant-based Beyond Burger along with potato chips, fresh fruit, and Mrs. Capt. Dave’s triple fudge brownies for dessert.
On the main deck of the boat, surfboard tables with bench seats provide a comfortable place to enjoy dinner away from the elements. Panoramic windows on both sides offer views of the scenery.
Upstairs, on the second deck, enjoy live music, a refreshing ocean breeze, and stunning harbor views. For your comfort, there is ample cushioned bench seating and it’s covered for protection from the elements.
Your ticket also includes one drink. There is a bar with water, soda, beer, spritzers, margaritas, and wine available for purchase.
A large variety of birds and sea lions could be seen. Once in a while, bottlenose dolphins can be seen in the harbor too!
Hoku Nai’a is a super stable catamaran and the largest vessel in our fleet, making her perfect for concert cruises!
This 65-foot vessel is designed for passenger comfort and has panoramic views from both the main deck and the elevated observation deck.
There are two restrooms available on the main deck.
You will enjoy a beautifully appointed interior with upscale décor throughout the vessel that celebrates Dana Point’s famous surfing culture and recognition as the Dolphin and Whale Watching Capital of the World®.
On the first floor, the main deck is fully enclosed for climate control. As you enter, a lounge area with three sofas provides a comfortable place to relax and chat. Forward of the lounge are plenty of bench seats with tables. Large windows on both sides provide panoramic viewing angles.
Heading upstairs to the second floor, the observation deck has ample cushioned bench seating, and a wooden dance floor, and is covered for added protection from the elements. A full bar is available for purchasing refreshments including water, soft drinks, beer, and wine.
