As the sun dips below the Pacific horizon, casting vibrant shades of pink and orange across the sky, guests will glide along calm waters aboard our spacious double-deck power catamaran.

Enjoy a catered gourmet dinner of delicious dishes, including your choice of marinated and grilled chicken or salmon, alfredo pasta, salad and rolls, and cheesecake for dessert. Custom surfboard tables with bench seats provide a comfortable place to dine, and large windows offer panoramic views of the beautiful harbor.

Valentine’s Day Sunset Cruise Itinerary
On the main deck, you will enjoy a delicious catered dinner with your choice of marinated and grilled chicken or salmon, alfredo pasta, salad and rolls, and cheesecake for dessert. Fun surfboard tables with bench seats provide a comfortable place to dine, and panoramic windows on both sides offer views of the beautiful harbor.
After your meal, take in the sunset and scenery from the upper deck while live music from a steel drummer fills the air, creating a perfect ambiance as you make unforgettable memories against the picturesque harbor backdrop.
The upper observation deck is mostly covered for protection from the elements, and bench seating features lightly padded cushions with custom marine wildlife designs.
There is also a bar for additional drink purchases, including soft drinks and beer.
Marine wildlife can be seen inside the harbor, including sea lions, a large variety of birds, and occasionally bottlenose dolphins.
This is a harbor cruise without whale watching. This cruise is designed to be calm and comfortable, so we stay inside the harbor instead of venturing into open ocean, where unpredictable conditions can affect the experience for both guests and the band. Weather permitting, the boat MIGHT visit the harbor entrance to view sea lions.

Sounds of Paradise brings warm island energy to your sunset cruise with clear, melodic steel drum music and smooth vocals. Their familiar songs reimagined in laid-back island style create a relaxed, tropical vibe perfect for a romantic date night on the water.
About the Boat
Hoku Nai’a is a 65-foot power catamaran designed for passenger comfort. She has panoramic views from both the main deck and the elevated observation deck. There are two restrooms available onboard.
You will enjoy a beautifully appointed interior with upscale décor throughout the vessel that celebrates Dana Point’s famous surfing culture and recognition as the Dolphin and Whale Watching Capital of the World®.
On the first floor, the main deck is fully enclosed for climate control. As you enter, a lounge area with three sofas provides a comfortable place to relax and chat. Forward of the lounge are plenty of bench seats with tables. Large windows on both sides provide panoramic viewing angles.
Heading upstairs to the second floor, the observation deck has ample bench seating, a dance floor, and is mostly covered for added protection from the elements. A full bar is available for purchasing refreshments including water, soft drinks, beer, and wine.
