THE
CAMERAS
We have seven.
1)
Bow - wide angle. Great shots when we are with the
dolphins.
2) Bow - water level. very cool to be 'swimming' with the dolphins riding
the bow.
3) Cockpit, watch your friends or even your own trip when you get home!
4) Underwater Eye-to-Eye Vieiwng POD...almost like being there.
5) Another Underwater "Eye-POD "shot, wher eyou can the entire
POD and who is down there.
6) the Bridge, where you can see and hear the Captain and Crew.
7) Handheld camera...used when we are with whales. Can
be a bit jerky, but
it's the best way to get those whales in the shots.

WHY ARE WE BROADCASTING OUR TRIPS?
Since 2000,
it has been a dream of ours to share our trips with those of
you
who
are
housebound,
landlocked,too
busy for a trip or simply just don't live close enough to enjoy
the incredible dolphins and whales that live right off the
Orange County coast. Finally, after years of waiting, Capt.
Dave has created the world's first ever Virtual Whale watching
TV for the web.
Now,
you can come along on one of our whale watching trips LIVE(When
we are ON AIR), or watch one of recent trips
by clicking on "Archive".
DISCLAIMERS
OK,
now for the disclaimers! This technology is not a perfect science,
nor is this a multi-million dollar reality TV show. There are
times, when we simply have to go too far from our land-based
station,
and you can't follow. There will be times when there's a
technical problem and you won't see us. Our first priority
is the trip and the passengers who are on board, then
it's you and
what you're watching from home.
WHAT WE SEE & HEAR IS WHAT YOU GET
While
we are on the water, we talk to the skippers of other vessels.
We can't control their
language, so it may be off color or colorful(depending on your
perspective)at
times. We apologize. Again, while most of our trips are fantastic,
sometimes a trip can be tough, stress is high and our own crew
may be frustrated and you'll hear all about that.
We hope you thoroughly enjoy your dolphin and whale watching
adventures with us. Let us know, add your comments to the
CHAT, we'd love to hear from you. |
